“Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

- Luke 6:38

A message from our Director…

Greeting Coalition of Churches in Prison Ministry (CoCiPM),

Let’s talk about “Change” that we all need and long for. Regardless of the earthly accomplishment we achieved while on this planet, change is needed to reflect HIM. Change (3345) per Strong Concordance (KJV) - is to transfigure or disguise. Transform, a makeover.

We all seek fulfillment. And to accomplish this fulfillment there is a change that must take place in our lives. The question is, what do you do when you want to change, but the change you want to make has a grip on you?

We know the change will be good and not bad. If the change is not made it will be detrimental to our life. How does the change occur for his glory and our good? We must acknowledge we need change and trust the process of this change. Trust that He has the power to make the change and we don’t within ourselves. We must believe and do it his way if we truly want the change. Let me say this also, some bad things in our life won’t change, which will be used for God’s glory. HE will use these unchangeable things in spite of them being bad. Paul talked about this in 2 Corinthians 12:7-11. Our Lord will make us over, he will disguise us which is change. HE will transfigure us, yes this too is a change.

For our conversation which is citizenship is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ per Philippians 3:20. Then Rev. Paul tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ will make the change in us per Philippians 3;21, Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all thing unto himself. 1 John 3:2 states, Beloved, now are we the son of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Lord, we believe you will change us from the body terrestrial to the celestial body. In the interim we must seek the excellency of the knowledge of the Christ Jesus to move from: Hate to love, rudeness to kindness, lying to truth, talking about people to encouraging people, envying to rejoicing, no patience to having patience, harmful to helpful, division to unity, and ultimately from chaos to peace! It is in these changes if we allow them will the life Christ spoke of will manifest. We then can go tell a lost and dying world about Him and life eternal if they accept. Make us over Lord for your glory and our good.

In Christ Jesus authority, amen, amen, and amen...
